The verdict is in, and its the proverbial
"Good News / Bad News"

First, the bad news: We are not going to New York to participate
in any Tribute Battle on MTV... at least not right now.

The good news is that our not going is not a result of our
failing any test or preliminary competition. In fact, all signs
pointed to our being included in the program.
Unfortunately, the producers at MTV have had quite a
bit of difficulty getting any of the 'real' bands involved, to
the point that they decided to only showcase tributes to
more modern acts such as Foo Fighters, etc. What with KISS
in the middle of the Y2KISS shows, it's understandable.

At any rate, they did mention something about doing a
separate special on KISS tributes etc, sometime
in February, in which some of our video may be used.

So we got that going for us, at least.

So thanks, MTV for the opportunity.
